The Kilians play historical music from various eras (medieval, renaissance, Victorian) as well as traditional music from all over Europe to the Middle East.
They are equally at home in concert halls as in churches and museums, on cabaret stages and in theaters, at historical events and festivals.
"For me, dealing with traditional music styles, whether from the Orient, Celtic countries or the Balkans, has a lot to do with listening and imitating, it's like learning dialects..."

— Silke Kilian
The two sound artists love collaborating with other genres such as acting, puppet theater, dance, film and photography.
